But it’s really interesting how the reactions AFTER a man hit a woman change. Everyone is woofin beforehand and then wants to be sympathetic afterward. Why not pull your friend off in the first place instead of waiting to see what happens, and then feeling bad when a man twice her size does what he says he is going to do?

Tough call. I think a big part of doing security is being able to de-escalate situations, not just the ability to knock patrons out.

The clip doesn't tell the full story, but definitely doesn't look like a situation where he needed to use force like that.

Yep. They’d always immediately reach for my tie for some reason

I usually just spun em around and slapped on a Full Nelson or scoop em and walk em out like you did couldn’t risk that attempted kick to the nuts girls are known for throwing at bouncers.


I’d have never been comfortable hitting a female with a whammy bammy but not everyone has my temperament. Some bouncers are swinging the moment they see they’re being surrounded sex be damned
