Me too I'm selling all my stocks today and cashing out 17k. I think virgin America goes down im reading they already changing out their planes. I don't know if they will still have their tv screensGood for you, man, seriously. I really wish Jet Blue had acquired them though.
It never hurts to take a profit. I would cash most of it out, but then again, I thought Jet Blue would make the purchase.....
I've held this stock for less than a year. Will I get taxed out the ass?
You'll pay some more, but the question is will the difference in taxes hurt you more than holding onto the stock if it goes down. No guarentee it does not dip.

It happens, you win some you lose some. About half of my portfolio is Apple, and that has been pretty rough since the summer, but it's starting to pick back up.
When I woke up and Googled "Virgin America stock" (not knowing they were acquired, or going to be), I saw the graph of an increase of nearly 40% and thought it was just an error, but it was real.
. At the same time though, the next thought that went through my mind was the other poster in here that had some Virgin America, so I was glad for him.
