From what im gathering is that black people with influence need to stop posturing themselves as black leaders.. Because when you do that, black people will hold that against you if you fail. Even though, people that criticize him admit they'd taken the money as well.

The so called HVM who graduated from these places should be doing what actual HVM men do in general: make donations to the HBCU they graduated from, sit on its fukking board or pay to have people sit on it for you

Stop leaving it all on one black person to fix shyt up. And forcing them to be your prophet when weird shyt happens

Deion should have never been propped up as a leader in the first place when it’s well noted over the years how he operates. It’s the same Deion that took the bag from Barstool Sports. The same conservative Barstool Sports who was once signing Trumps praises.

"he sold a dream and walked out on the dream" sums it up perfectly

:hubie:

He "limped out" on a dream.. Remember he was fairly healthy when he took the job.. Then he had health complications that almost cost him his leg and a month straight in the hospital..

You don't believe that it looked good in the beginning, then life happens? Now it doesn't look as good as it did in the beginning.. A lot of nuances being over looked so people can just be outraged.

People are outraged because he jumped ship at the first opportunity after selling a dream. I don't think people are overlooking any nuance, most people aren't upset for him chasing a bag and prestige, they're upset that he misrepresented what he was all about.
