Deion just saying the quiet part out loud. Statistics reinforce everything Deion says, but I get why folks are mad.
QB is one of it not the toughest position to master in all of professional sports. It takes not only raw talent, but a level of intelligence to truly excel at the position. Kids that come from households where both parents are actively involved GENERALLY do better in classes, have less legal issues, etc. etc.
I’m not saying there aren’t nuances of being a Defensive tackle either, but at that position raw freakish athleticism is going to trump all. Kids from single parent households are generally more prone to violence. It’s a violent game and the trenches of the line of scrimmage is the most violent of them all

These kids are going to be hungry, pure adrenaline and power based on life situations which makes them perfect for that position
The above archetypes are just the average. You can obviously excel being a QB from a broken home or being on the DLine from a stable two parent household.
Like I said I get why folks are mad because of the rhetoric this can potentially introduce but this isn’t a new state of the art coaching concept, Deion just saying it for the masses.
