Ps4: For gamers, by gamers. The ultimate game console and gaming system. its awesome. Whether its AAA titles like Second Son or Indie games like Contrast and Rezogun, these guys have an amazing GAMING console.
Xbox: A wonderful entertainment console... that also plays games. Enhanced tv watching, enhanced music/video streaming, built in skype, snapping a web browser onto your screen while you wait to matchmake your online games. Just a great entertainment experience (but you sacrifice somewhat on the video quality for games)

same shyt i said in the ps4 thread and others have said around here, but people keep doubting it and take it as a slight against the console they like...guess it just takes a white man to say it for people to accept it lol...
Honestly... After hearing his review... I'm thinking, because I love gaming so much, the PS4 would be for me.
The thing is I never bought a ps3... I am an Xbox360 head. So my circle, dudes I've really grown to know, are all getting the x1 and I love the controller.
Plus, I do have a wife and 2 children, I like the entertainment capabilities of the X1 so I'm reluctantly getting the X1.
Now I understand not wanting to put the cost on the consumer... but it is still perplexing why Msft didn't go all out w/ the specs.
I mean... cooling? There are ways around it. Why give Sony the possibility to compete specs wise?
Honestly, it almost feels like collusion. Like these companies compromise to keep the competition going.
I will say this though... When I pick up my X1, although I know down the line I will enjoy it...I am going to feek VERY uncomfortable picking up an inferior gaming machine.

On the other hand, power is not everything in gaming. It's great to know in the back of your mind that you are getting the best graphics. But what it comes down to is the experiences you are having. In my opinion for the time being Xbox is offering the better gaming experiences as well.
The advantages the ps4 has are not really reflected in the games for the time being. When they do, I'll pick up a ps4
After all the reading I've done....I hate to say it....I'm going to have to go with the PS4. I missed out on a lot of classics on the PS3 and now I'm reading that the X-Box One is the inferior system while being $100 more, can't justify it.

The ps3 was the more powerful system but that never really ended up meaning anything tho
I think in terms of overall potential, the xbox is setup better for the long run
The naughty dog exclusives are tempting but beyond that, what is there?
God of war fell off after ps2, infamous is good but very similar to prototype, mgs and final fantasy aren't exclusives anymore
PS3 Exclusives showed otherwise with the power of the system....
Xbox one is not setup for the long run as it's already struggling to hit 720p on some games. How is that setup for the long run when the competition's games are 1080p on a stronger system?
If you want the Xbone, go ahead, but get these

Likewise. There wasn't a single Xbox exclusive I cared about besides Mass Effect. On the flip side, I missed out on Heavy Rain, TLOU, Uncharted, inFamous, and other exclusive Sony titles. Factor in MS initial stance and the fact the XB1 is more expensive, as a gamer, it was an easy decision.
