Saw this at a screening a month ago, it is worth seeing if the idea of a female centric coming of age story is appealing, which it was to me. Doesn't have the heart or teeth of something like 8th Grade, and has it's own tone deaf moments, such as teenagers draped in Gucci, (which I noticed, but many may not) and the basic story is essentially one long cliche, but it is enjoyable, and fun, with some very smart satire, regarding millenials and current culture.

Gonna watch it eventually. Definitely didn't see any publicity on it up until today

It was fun. Not all of the jokes landed, and some of the jokes were distinctly cultural (i.e. smug white girl humor), but I did laugh. There was a point in the movie I almost considered walking out though because it was just so far-fetched they almost lost me. But then they got back on track and it ended up being a very nice coming of age story about friendship. I also liked the message that you don't have to have a stick up your ass and be singularly focused to be successful. There was a particular scene in the movie that drove that point home and it made the protagonist look like a judgmental a$$hole, which was cool. A lot of movies won't do that.

All in all for this genre I'd give it a 7 out of 10.

I give it a 6.5/10
It’s definitely the female version of Superbad, but not half as funny, and more PC.
The plot had so many similarities.
The chubby girl even looks like Jonah hill a lil bit :pachaha:

Billie Lourd is funny as shyt, I want to see her in more stuff...
