I'm still salty that they reduced Huey to a background character and never even introduced Caesar.
Instead they decided to make the show into the "Let's watch Riley, Granddad, and Ruckus play out racial stereotypes" show.
This is what basically killed the series for me personally. Huey was the heart and soul of the show. He was the guy who came in and broke everything down intellectually. Yeah, the show could get crazy and ridiculous, but in the end, Huey would always come through speaking that real, dropping truth bombs about the current state of Black America and exposing the evils of white supremacy.

It also helps that Huey had the GOAT fight scenes

Without Huey, there's no message and the show is basically reduced to just a bunch of stereotypical ratchet black folks acting ig'nant.
Once they started phasing him out to focus on the foolery surrounding Riley and Granddad (EDIT: and Ruckus), I knew what time it was.

The Boondocks lowkey started falling off with the third season, IMO (with the exception of a couple of great episodes here and there).
