If they really want to secure hiring they need to raise the salary to at least 100k… They will get an influx of candidates they can choose from… That low as salary they will only be able to attract ex cons and people with question characters

Border Patrol the job is too hard for that pay, Capital Police is easy jobs on days that ain't Jan 6th but COL is too high in DC area for that salary
