Born Sinner and Hall of Fame are the best commercial releases this year so far

they both dropped great sophomore albums. nothing game changing but they shyt on everything else so far.


mchg was meh. trap lord was aight. stay trippy was ok. yeezus and excuse my fresh were garbage. the gifted is the only other release thats close but i havent listened to it since about a week after it dropped.

in terms of commercial releases only drake and wiz are left this year and we know what to expect with those. drake gonna give us the same ol wiz is just wiz but this could be decent.

my 1st chemistry set is the only release left im really hyped about

I agree with Born Sinner....

Its just a soild rap CD, No gimmicks or any of that extra shyt. Not alot of unecessary features.... Cole put one out one Single and dropped the album (on time at that)

Not sure about Hall Of Fame though... I'ma give a few more spins but it just didn't do alot for me... First Chain is a good song and MILF is funny as shyt... but once Juicy J dropped I kinda forgot about it

I enjoyed MCHG and it still gets run but the bar is higher for Jay than these other young cats. Yeezus has 4 great songs to me and the rest is just spam.....
