Im actually in Boston right now for work for the first time since I was a youngin It is a culture shock coming from ATL where you see a bunch of black people to the financial district of boston where there arent many black ppl. But so far the city is dope tbh. I was a youngin when I lived up in new england but this aint half bad. Miss ATL tho. Not enough beautiful black women around

As a Bostonian, this shyt is embarrassing. As if Boston does not have a bad enough rap on racism, you go celebrate a white man for Black History Month.

Meanwhile, there are many prominent African Americans who came from Boston that you could have easily honored instead. Horatio J. Homer, Boston's first African-American police officer would be the most obvious, but the list goes on of historical African Americans who could easily be honored dating back to the damn 1600s.
