Unfortunately for the rest of us, Texas and Florida have a lot of sway. Texas and nkw Florida have been forcing companies that publish textbooks to change things in books. Which means they have to be changed for all states. Like softening language on slavery, treatment of natives, casting doubt on evolution etc.
