Of course Damon is a bigger draw than Renner, but he still did a good job with what he had. I know some folks be all up on the Bourne Trilogy like its a masterpiece, but really it was one great film (Identity), one good film (Ultimatum) and one poor film(Supremacy). The first film was so good it carried the sequel and the third was good enough to round out the trilogy, but it wasn't as good as the first. Bourne Legacy on the other hand was good because it knew what it was and what it wasn't. It didn't overreach and I felt it was better for it. Some folks were going to hate it regardless because it wasn't Damon, others just set themselves up for disappointment by hoping it would achieve a standard they set in their minds that really only the first Bourne film achieved.
