Bout ready to cop a PS4, so is the PS4 PRO worth it or nah?

You console guys are just dirty as fukk. Once you clean it out and apply high quality thermal paste the OG PS4 is also very quiet.

People have changed the TP in the PS4 before and still had loud fan noise. It's a multitude of factors such as game(mines was loud ONLY in the menus of UC4 MP etc.) and/or dust build up. Cleaning out thermal paste and reapplying isn't something I should be doing with my console.

You are absolutely right. Unfortunately Sony went with some cheap ass shyt that in some cases fuses the APU to the subpar heatsink inside.

The OG PS4 is pretty quiet as long as you let it breathe and dont smoke weed/meth in front of it.

If you dont already have a ps4. If its not the difference between you eating and starving, then definitely get the pro
