Got a homie that did that (before I knew him). Dated his girl through HS, broke up with her, she started dating another dude, he basically came to get her back, she broke up with dude (who was abusive) then found out she was pregnant. Homie stayed with her, basically adopted the kid as his own and now they're married with 3 sons. On the outside I'd call it simp behavior but real talk they're perfect for each other and she's a great woman so I can't clown Crews too hard
