Yeah they reached it in way less months than Avatar too

In a THIRD of the time.... not even HALF.

Also let’s not forget they without their so called “rerelease” they surpassed Avatar at where that movie was prior to their own rerelease like 3 weeks ago

Avatar is on FXHD and been on since 12:30 eastern and not one of y’all mentioned it or are even watching it:russ:

Overrated movie that no one really cares about:lolbron:

I watched like 20 mins of it then cut it off to watch Captain Marvel:troll:

No one saw Avatar 10 or more times? To be the highest grossing movie ever I'm sure many people did.
Maybe they did. I get seeing a movie a few times, if you like it. But seeing a movie just so it can reach no 1 ...thats lame as fukk

This milestone makes me forgive WB a little bit for chasing that Avengers bag without proper preparation...

Seeing as it eventually became the biggest fukking thing in movie history.... I can kinda forgive other studios for trying to copy the playbook now

Avatar gonna get another re-release when they drop Avatar 2.

If Avatar retakes the lead, that shyt would be hilarious.

It looks like James Cameron is back in the spotlight, this time for challenging the massively successful Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In an interview with Indiewire that resurfaced this week, Cameron took the series to task, criticizing it for its repetition and simplicity:

“I’m hoping we’ll start getting Avenger fatigue here pretty soon. Not that I don’t love the movies. It’s just, come on guys, there are other stories to tell besides hyper-gonadal males without families doing death-defying things for two hours and wrecking cities in the process. It’s like, oy!”
