Learn boxing but avoid real sparring unless you actually have to do it. This shyt is dangerous

man I spar every week and about to go to open sparring this afternoon and dead ass this shyt got me shook. Was just doing touch sparring with a dude heavier than me yesterday too but I don't take many shots to the dome since Im shorter.

Still this got me rethinking thangs because I'm already much nicer than I need to be to sleep some nikka on the street in a fight and I'm not going pro so whats the point, besides I love this shyt :takedat: :mjcry:

You dont have to avoid sparring. Touch sparring can be a good teaching tool but yeah you should not be sparring hard at all if that aint your profession. Ive been to a few boxing gyms and 1 muay thai one and i really like how muay thai handles sparring. Its like a game almost, very fun and safe imo.

R.I.P. to the fighter that lost his life. :mjcry:

I was talking to a muay thai guy a few weeks ago and yeah they spar with no head gear real chill and he even mentioned you boxing dudes are nuts how hard you go with basic sparring. I tend to agree cuz I've seen some wars on a regular fukking wednesday that neither nikka is getting paid for.
