According to his book his losses stem from not being prepared enough due to various reasoning(s).......and there's also the time he damn near had a heat stroke fighting for the Light Heavyweight Championship

Other than that, he really didn't have any weaknesses 'cept his personal life seemed to be a problem

I'd also like to add that his defense was a bit flawed with his low hands and he primarily used his offense as defense

And he was undersized most of his televised career...I say televised because apparently there is no footage of his 147 bouts, however, he would weigh in at Welterweight at some of his middleweight bouts

Imagine that today :damn:

Hands down doesn't mean bad defense. Fighters didnt have massive gloves to hide behind in them days so they had to learn real defense like rolling punches off your shoulders and correct positioning.

Stop with this hands up bullshyt.

This is coming from someone who boxes amateur too. If you really research what boxing is about you'd learn that hands up is just what trainers who don't know how to teach proper defense and stance say. Defense is built in to the stance if your stance is correct, so your hands are free to actually punch.

Covering your face with your hands is something a child could comprehend. There's no skill involved in that at all.

James toney has never been knocked out. He's been down once in 80 something fights. So you would beat James toney because he doesn't keep his hands up?

Okay then. You have clearly never boxed a day in your life.

So we're gonna use James Toney as an example. One of the greatest to use the philly shell/shoulder roll style. Which one hand is up to protect against the hook right? Youre a fukking clown.

Have YOU actually boxed a day in your life? Besides watching youtube videos?

Philly shell??? Oh I've seen you've played fight night. James toney was from Michigan. Nicolino locche was a master at shoulder rolling and he was from Argentina. So tell me why it's called the Philly shell again? :bryan:

I've had 5 amateur fights what about you?
