Boxing brehs, why aren't championship fights 13 rounds?

I know they used to be 15 and were cut for their safety or whatever, but I don't get why it was cut to an even number where you have the possibility of guys splitting the thing right down the middle (six to six rounds)?

probably for that very reason...so that you can have more draws, more controversy, more rematches, more money, etc.

besides, you can still have a draw in an odd number bout.
