Its a dangerous and elite sport, truly takes years practise to master it; I rather see black men playing it less because of risk of CTE and rather golf, basketball, tennis etc

Boxing is dope, will def give you a distinct advantage over the untrained, with consistency.

I don't train it a whole bunch because it gives me bad habits for Kickboxing/MMA though but still there are great good habits it has like the emphasis on built in defense.

I’ve never trained Kickboxing/MMA . Can you elaborate on the difference?

Boxers traditional stance leaves their lead leg too exposed for leg kicks and single leg takedowns, bobbing and weaving too much opens you up to get kicked in the head and the clinch game in boxing is much less sophisticated due ruleset then MMA/kickboxing. Also you gotta throw your punches different, kickboxing punches are considered more arm punches because throwing them the traditional boxer way messes up your ability to flow into kicks and knees.

connor mcgregor sparring a world champion boxer under mma rules highlights some of the differences
