Personally, i don't think running to other races of men is going to solve her issues. Not denying that some black men might not like dark skin women but she should be aware that other races have a lot of prejudiced views on dark skin color as well.

At the end of the day a massive amount of black women suffer from a lack of self-esteem issues and no amount of simping from black men will suffice in their eyes. They just want to be told that they are beautiful by a white man or a non white-man, it is what it is.
I would be really curious to hear her talk about colorism and featurism going forward if she get herself a non-black man.
