I understand the point being made, but part of being an adult is being direct with your intentions. Or at least, more elaborate.
And women tend to gravitate toward details like that, in part, because it allows them to anticipate and "fantasize" (maybe not the best word) about how the day/night may go.

"Let's chill" is very ambiguous.
"Let's go to this restaurant and then to that bar for wine" lets her mind run wild about what she'll wear, what you'll wear, the environment of the restaurant, the food, it gets her out of the house and she feels like she's doing something...etc"

Don't get me wrong, I'm not judging the intentions. Both examples might very well be DTF situations. But the approaches matter to a lot of women.
