That title is another example of thinly veiled anti African-American sentiment where the importance and existence of AA's own culture and heritage is denied and that of non-AA blacks is propped up, exoticized, and romanticized at our expense. So called Pan-Africanist actually play a big role and propagating these toxic narratives. We need to stop giving these ignorant self-hating Pan-Africanist a pass and start calling them out especially since they're usually the first ones to start spouting off at the mouth about 'c00n' this and 'c00n' that at other AAs.
