One is from a stream which is why it looks a bit more blurry. But I'm not talking about that.

Look how clear and detailed the shadow is under the collar. Its almost non-existent in the second pic.

Look at the textures on the collar. On one they pop out the individual bumps cast shadows on each other. In the other pic it is a flat painted on texture.

Even though the first pic is from a low quality stream the aliasing on the edges is more noticeable in the high quality shot.

Since the 10 percent reservation was for Kinect/Snap, does giving that reservation back to gaming make Kinect/Snap suffer going forward?

IIRC, according to them, no. It was an early estimate, and the software has been improved to the point that the reservation is no longer needed.
