Watch: Player literally breaks defender's ankles with vicious crossover
Caitlyn Holroyd Jul 21, 2017 11:02 AM
The term "breaking ankles" took a literal turn in the final seconds of a game between Philippines and Iraq in the 2017 William Jones Cup.
Kevin Ferrer, who plays for the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel of the Philippine Basketball Association, crossed up Iraq defender Hussein Talib, who then fell awkwardly on his ankle and had to be carried off the court.
