Breaking Bad was great, no doubt, but I don't think it will have the replay value that a Sopranos has. That shyt just got a lil silly at times. I'm not sure it will hold up as well as The Sopranos.

And I preferred the ending of The sopranos to that of Breaking Bad

Sopranos couldve been goat but a lot of things held it back

-seasons 5 and forward were kinda weak compared to the first 4
-vito trying to suck off flynn storyline
-emo suicidal aj storyline
-vito and the gay fireman storyline
-all those dumb ass dream sequences
-janice was fukking annoying/wished richie or ralphie wouldve killed her
-chris going hollywood

Seasons 1 and 2 are perfect, 3 is a 9/10 while 4 is a 8/10

I love the sopranos and all its characters, but breaking bad shyts all over it. I think people go back to calling it the goat is because of nostalgic reasons and how much we all love tony soprano. Sopranos at best is number 5 all time. It was too unstable. shyt i think i would even put mad men above the sopranos...i think when it comes to character devolopment, most shows aint touching mad men

Yeah tony got clipped. Good pick up. I had to read a fairly long article before I realized every door been cuts to Tonys face then cuts to his pov.

But to the TS if you're on season 2 you're on arguably the worst season. It gets crazy. The first two seasons are the weakest.

After seeing every episode of both shows I'd say BB is just flat out better than Sopranos. I just can't get over wasting so much of the later seasons on lesser characters like Vito, Arthur and AJ.

BB gave the time to characters we cared about.
