He's ALWAYS been overrated by celtics fans and media. From the very beginning.
Not worth 20 mil, but this was the right move by him since the celtics boosted his head up.
I expect another team to get him a modest 3 year or less deal hovering around ~$15 mil. Reaves is going to get more even though he's also overrated.

Grant should be getting some minutes in this series. He was very serviceable vs Philly. Need defenders that aren’t afraid to body up vs the Heat. We could use some of his antics as well. Grant has fun out there. LOL

He might have been the most shytted on player on the team his first two years. He won a lot of people over with his playoff run last year and the way he played at the beginning of this season but for the most part he hasn’t been highly rated to begin with
trust me, do NOT overpay on a player based off of one season. ESPECIALLY if you drafted that player

Grant stopped getting minutes later in the season because his shooting nosedived and he spent more time crying to the refs on defense than guarding his man

Dude had a decent first 15 games of the season. Then after that he completely fell off a cliff. Couldn't hit a 3 point shot at all, completely unable to take people off the dribble when people would close out on him, caused so many turnovers
On top of that his defense tanked too. Missed defensive assignments, flopping, fouling 24/7
So he got buried on the bench. Simple. Dude hasn't been consistently productive since Game 7 of the 2nd round against the Bucks last year
