Diddy’s alleged drug mule, Brendan Paul, has accepted a plea deal. TMZ reported that the former college basketball player agreed to a deal with the prosecution after being arrested and hit with a felony drug possession charge in March.

Paul’s attorney, Brian Bieber, issued a statement regarding his client’s decision, saying, “Brendan accepted the prosecutor’s offer to permit his entry into the diversion program which, after completion, the case against him will be dismissed in its entirety.”

The outlet reports that the Miami-Dade State Attorney has confirmed Brendan Paul’s deal. Miami-Dade authorities added that as a part of the plea deal, Brendan must participate in and complete a drug diversion program for six months.

If Paul is to finish the program, he will avoid doing any jail time for his possession charge. As mentioned, Brendan Paul was arrested in March at the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport after law enforcement found marijuana-infused treats and cocaine on his person. While Paul was being arrested in March, Diddy’s homes were being raided in connection with sex trafficking investigations. The assistant was arraigned in the Miami-Dade County courtroom in April, per TMZ. At that time, Bieber entered his client into a not-guilty plea concerning the charge.

Brendan Paul was previously a D1 college basketball player for Syracuse. After receiving little to no playing time, he transferred to a DII West Virginia school. New York Magazine reported that the man shifted his major to business and had dreams of becoming a music producer. Brendan graduated from the West Virginia school and then became a part of Sean Comb’s entourage in 2022.

On Tuesday (May 14), Sean Combs hit Instagram with a blunt message to his supporters: “Time tells the truth,” with a caption that read, “LOVE.” The message arrived on the heels of Sean Conmbs’ attorney Jonathan D. Davis addressing a lawsuit accusing his client of raping a then 17-year-old girl in 2003. Davis issued a statement on Friday (May 10) and filed a request to dismiss the suit, claiming the legal doc was a “false and hideous claim” that was untimely filed.

“This stunt is intended to prominently showcase a baseless and time-barred claim, which was designed to cause the Combs Defendants unwanted publicity, embarrassment, and financial costs, so Plaintiff could extract an undeserved financial recovery from them,” Combs’ motion read.
