I watched the full version of this interview its likes 90 minutes. Very dope! No I.D. is very insightful not just about music but in general.

When you assess his body of work he's up there. But maybe sometimes gets overlooked because even though he is heavily associated with early Common they were never actually in a group like say a EPMD, Gangstarr or PR & CL. Seems like he preferred to stay in the background ex. he rarely gives interviews.

Also feel like hes more consistent than anything else, as his work reachs a high level but doesnt have as many standouts as some of the names that usually show up on top 10 lists

Would also like to add that he had a hand in bringing K.West to the forefront (as a plus lol)
