But judging by the conclusions you’ve already jumped to, you don’t like reading full articles. So below are the highlights to answer your questions…

"After receiving a recommendation from the boards of the FDIC and the Federal Reserve, and consulting with the President, Secretary [Janet] Yellen approved actions enabling the FDIC to complete its resolution of Silicon Valley Bank, Santa Clara, California, in a manner that fully protects all depositors," the said in a joint statement. "Depositors will have access to all of their money starting Monday, March 13. No losses associated with the resolution of Silicon Valley Bank will be borne by the taxpayer."

“The officials stressed that the funds used to pay depositors of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank will come from the FDIC's Deposit Insurance Fund (DIF). The DIF is funded by fees on banks, and then from earnings on their investments such as Treasury securities, and currently has more than $100 billion in it, according to officials.

"The Deposit Insurance Fund is bearing the risk. This is not funds from the taxpayer," a senior Treasury official said.”

Oh so its the DIF funded by taxpayers banks/investors I see THATS why its not a bailout.
Like the depositor money was generated by taxpayers employers organic earnings, venture capitol investments. oh and crypto.

Got it.

The DIF is funded by fees on banks, not by banks to consumers.

You’re literally just making shyt up so you can be angry at something

Literal rich people being saved from their bad decisions over hundreds of thousands of dollars, but a damn teacher or firefighter with 20k of loans cant get helped? :why:

Crazy how these rich cacs can loan and get handouts to no complaints meanwhile alot of the stubborn broke ass people on the bottom are the first to preach that boot straps get a job talk when their fellow man or woman is expressing their struggle.

Student loans is 100% predatory lending
The question I always will ask is why is it was easier to get student loans over any other loan? I have to go through all this bullshyt just to get a home loan, but they’ll give you thousands in student loans no matter what your situation is.. That's fukked up.

During the sub-prime loan crisis, it was very easy to get a mortgage, and ultimately it too was labelled "Predatory Lending". The difference was, the predators got bailed out, not the victims.
