Some of you may already be aware...MOST of you probably not. I know i wasnt. Its basicly shedding light on how the U.S Interstate system was created and used as yet another way of SYSTEMATICALLY oppressing the black race.

THIS is the type of stuff we as black people have to be aware of. One of the reasons systemic oppression/white supremacy continues to be so effective is because we're simply not aware of it. We're not aware of how DEEP & ELABORATE this shyt is. EVERYTHING you can imagine down to the structure of the highway systems is INTENTIONALLY DESIGNED to keep us down yall. We tend to think racism is simply "whites only" signs and KKK outfits. Noooo its waaay deeper than that.

Knowledge is the key to our survival. They dont want us "awake". White supremacy depends on our ignorance and us thinking "everything is ok". They dont want us to know WHY things are the way they are. They want us to keep thinking its "just entertainment". They dont want us gaining knowledge of not only ourselves but knowledge of them, the REAL "opps".



This is the main reason i mess with the coli. Ive learned a great deal from you guys and we must continue to educate each other instead of tearing one another down. The youth specifically needs knowledge of self. Every passing generation is becoming more and more "whitewashed", which is why shyt like this happens:

A young black woman with ANY type of racial pride and knowledge of self would never let a whiteboy refer to her as "darkmeat" and put a KFC crown on her head. Her parents failed. We must not. We must all gain knowledge ourselves and spread it to the younger generation. They are the future. If you have kids, neices and nephews....teach them. If you know kids from the neighborhoods.....teach them. We're all in this together.

Again, everything is PURPOSELY DESIGNED to keep us def, dumb and blind. The first step in combating this is AWARENESS. If you havent peeped the thread,go take a look and learn something new today.

its amazing that people deny racism to the extent that they do. both black and white...this knowledge cant be suppressed. sometimes i wonder if there could ever be a censorship where this information was no longer easily accessible on the web... i wonder if certain information should to be retained in hard copy/physical form.

Gothamist did a great interview with Robert Caro, who might be the foremost expert on Robert Moses. Here's a quote from the interview:

"I remember his aide, Sid Shapiro, who I spent a lot of time getting to talk to me, he finally talked to me. And he had this quote that I’ve never forgotten. He said Moses didn’t want poor people, particularly poor people of color, to use Jones Beach, so they had legislation passed forbidding the use of buses on parkways.

Then he had this quote, and I can still he him saying it to me. “Legislation can always be changed. It’s very hard to tear down a bridge once it’s up.” So he built 180 or 170 bridges too low for buses.

We used Jones Beach a lot, because I used to work the night shift for the first couple of years, so I’d sleep til 12 and then we’d go down and spend a lot of afternoons at the beach. It never occurred to me that there weren’t any black people at the beach.

So Ina and I went to the main parking lot, that huge 10,000-car lot. We stood there with steno pads, and we had three columns: Whites, Blacks, Others. And I still remember that first column—there were a few Others, and almost no Blacks. The Whites would go on to the next page. I said, God, this is what Robert Moses did. This is how you can shape a metropolis for generations."

Yep, i think about this too. There's alot of negatives to this social media age we're in, but i will say that its probably the biggest reason alot of black people are "waking up" now, and like i said, thats exactly what they DONT want: a country full of CONSCIOUS black people

If you are melanated and not aware, then you might as well be dead. You see no use to us. That's what it comes down too now. The highways purposely cutting through blsck neighborhoods was new to me. Just another way to destroy black communities. And it's sickening.

They want to keep us a permant underclass but at the same time they complain abou blsck crime. But when blsck crime has white victims, then all of a sudden it's a problem. That's why I have little to no sympathy for white victims of blsck crime. Because it's a result of systematic racism/white supramacy.

The highway system is just a small part of the establishment's multifaceted, systematic assault on the black population.

Fluoride in our water (which has been proven to drop IQ points)
Hormones in our foods (to make us gay/bisexual)
Polluting our air (causing birth defects and high cancer rates)
Subpar education system (school to prison pipeline)
Prison industrial complex (modern day slavery)

And in spite of all of this you idiots will still vote Hilary.

Napoleon drops some good posts man, I'm not on here enough to know why he's really got such a bad reputation among some posters but Poitier did neg him from that thread, and he also always has something negative to say about Caribbean people of color as while forcing the stereotype that sisters with natural hair are "wenches" etc... whose the real opp on here?
