what if I told you that most of the interstate highways were built in the 60's


what if I told you around that same time they named it "National System of Interstate and Defense Highways"


how come whenever there's a protest in a majority black city first things the state troopers (all ex military) do is close of the highways


defend who from whom

You know what..thinking about it..

that does make perfect sense. Hell hide it under the guise of that insane "Soviets will invade usa!" shyt..

Because really... no one would invade this country, so what would the real reason behind that shyt be.... which thanks to these threads we're learning

But here's the thing. Now that successful blacks are moving out into the suburbs and and whites are moving back into the cities... if they start tearing down and remodeling some of these highways. Who's really gonna suffer and who's gonna benefit?

The only reason they're "fixing" the problem now is because they don't care about the mobilty from these suburbs with growing minority populations anymore and want to accomodate the beneficiaries of gentrification that are moving back into the areas that they destroyed in the first place.
