This all played exactly into Hamas and Iran/Hezbollah’s strategy so perfectly.
Land an attack on Israel that shocks them 9/11 style (cmon flying in on paragliders, that’s some next level shyt lol), Israel already brutally murdering 1000s Palestinians in retaliation for small attacks by Hamas every week, so if they land the biggest terrorist attack in the history of this conflict, Israel probably gonna go overboard. Then they catch it on smartphone footage, and in the social media area blast it out for the whole world to see the carnage.
There’s a running joke that Shinzo Abe’s assassination might have been the greatest assasination of all time because shortly after, everything that the assassin requested and believed in is being fulfilled.
This might be the most successful terrorist attack in modern history, because in one move they are turning a whole generation of kids all across the world into anti-Zionist, somewhat giving the Arabs something to unite around (even though Palestinians are treated as the lowest people in the Arab social hierarchy, probably because they’re getting hoed by the Jews).
Even with the influence of Hezbollah and Iran, Iran is going full anti-Zionist, the Saudis are being friendly and making money with the Zionist. Iran has been the main opp of Saudi Arabia in the middle East for sometime now, they have been growing their power and influence in the region, this gives them an opportunity to put the Saudis on the summer jam screen like “the Jews are killing Arab/Muslim babies and Saudi Arabia doesn’t care”.
Lol they already got Saudi Arabia backing off from the peace deal with Israel.
Saudi Arabia is putting U.S.-backed plans to normalise ties with Israel on ice, two sources familiar with Riyadh's thinking said, signalling a rapid rethinking of its foreign policy priorities as war escalates between Israel and Palestinian group Hamas.

I feel like Israel is confident because there have been a bunch of times Arabs/Muslims all cliqued up against Israel, and still lost in humiliating fashion.
But a lot of the Arab/Muslim nations have stepped up their game military wise, and they have a lot more money now, when Muslims have a lot of money, a lot of money flows into the radical Islam pipeline, and nobody knows how to mobilize guerrilla fighters better than the religion of Islam.
Exciting times we’re living in. We are approaching a holy war level of conflict.
