Cause he's a right wing goofy. In right wing circles they have been aggressively pushing the narrative that the shooter is a leftist lunatic. Now that more information about the shooter starting to come and it appears that the shooter is a religious right wing nutjob. the right wingers are about go extra hard pushing the tim waltz angle so they can both side the situation and downplay right wing violence.
