This is what's so difficult about a genuine movement: You want it to be organic and coming from your own people on a word of mouth level but at the same time it needs to be organized and cohesive, so there's a unified front. That's what a union is supposed to be for but that shyt almost always spirals out the wrong way.

Something tells me that the people who are about to start “striking” don’t have resumes nor fit the job qualifications for a career off LinkedIn. fukk I look like striking when I have bills and living paycheck to paycheck? I can’t tell the bank/landlord “we striking so support the movement and I got you when management signs the contract”
shyt has to be truly organized, not some damn twitter shyt. People already living on the margins. A strike will hurt the most vulnerable until a new contract is made.

It should be kickstarted as a single day strike to send a message. It would be easier to organize, and less hazardous to people's careers. But if successful, would send a powerful message to corporations and government officials if a longer one were organized. France and UK citizens are all about general strikes.
