Thibs and front office/owner have had problems for nearly his entire tenure. Thibs doesn't like their frugalness nor how they dealt away Deng to basically tank. There was his entire contract saga too. It has not been a good relationship there.



You don't want Hollins or Vogel if available? Thibs is my most preferred choice because the guy is simply an amazing coach, but I think Hollins would be just as good to establish an identity, and a good at that, for the team as either of the Van Gundys.

Wouldn't even mind Nate McMillan tbh, just someone not as clueless as Brown or a person like Pringles who puts the system before the players and refuses to adjust or adapt his system.
