Retail space for gaming is declining in my area but it's not a good look to have it completely pulled. Unsure if this is to prepare for next xbox console, but losing retail space means console loses exposure. People like us on gaming forums would be aware of next xbox console or if it's only sold directly through Microsoft. However, the average consumer won't know because most people get exposed to video games through physical and online retailers, and social media. I guarantee you if you ask people outside of video game forums they wouldn't have clue what a steam deck is and the next Xbox would suffer that same fate if they lose retail presence.

Will be interesting to see holiday sales this year

We’re about to test that “people don’t buy consoles in stores” theory

So you see video of empty PS5 shelves and you don’t belive your eyes.

You see anecdotes from random cacs on the internet, and those are 100% facts.

Sony cult is crazy
I saw it. We know their sales are down like crazy so it's not like it's selling well.

This will be the worst selling Xbox since the original just like the Xbox before this one.
