Why? Supercomputer simulations of nuclear detonations are so accurate now they once tried to export control the computers they model this on to China. They will literally learn nothing new.

Also I just realized how much of a waste of money this is.

Do you realize how much money it takes to build a reinforced bunker for an unenecesary nuclear test? And even worse these bunkers are single use so with every test you have to build a new bunker.

Not to mention all of the man hours and material required to make a bomb when you already have 5,000 of them that have been proven to work.


How many hospitals could this same money have built?


Like really sit back and think about this for a second. They are cutting Medicare funding, snap funding, and even section 8 funding but somehow we have enough money to make our 6,000th nuclear bomb
