This reminds me of Katrina when it was still early enough for people to be like "hey man it's a disaster, we have to wait and hope for the best." That quickly turned into "ok these dudes fukked this up and its getting worse every day." Bush never recovered. His presidency literally ended and he became a lame duck faster than any two term president.

Washington (state) is the future. They're running out of hospital beds and it's impacting non-virus related services. Imagine getting into a bad car accident in Seattle and they can't take you to a hospital because there are no beds/rooms. So they try to save you at the scene of the crash and you die. That's gonna start happening fellas. I don't mean to scare monger, but hospitals losing capacity is exactly what's happening in Italy right now.

People saying that the death rate is "low" are missing the point (and wrong). If hospitals get over run the system will break down and impact everything. If you're elderly or even just a boomer right now, you should be concerned. My mom is scared shytless right now.
