He turned them? I'm pretty sure Darren Sproles was nice before Drew Brees. Who was Brees making famous in San Diego? Brees has weapons all over the place in a pass happy offense and Graham's a beast. Just like Gates was. He throws 35% of his passes to his RB who then runs for 15 yards. That is why his completion percentage is so high. He's a beast, but he's not better than Rodgers or Brady or a healthy Peyton. He's easily the worst decision-maker out of the three and he gets away with reckless shyt because Colston goes up and grabs it.
@Rekka, did you just say you'd take Brees over Brady because Brees can't actually move and doesn't get to stand around like a statute? You do realize nobody but Rodgers has a higher QB rating vs. the blitz and under pressure than Brady right? You do realize that Brees has the best O-line in football right? Brees is worse under pressure than Brady. Don't let the fact that he can escape it because of athleticism at times and make a couple of plays fool you. His weapons are so good that he played shytty for 3/5 of the game vs. the Saints and still almost won.
It's about the totality of weapons. They have speed, size and possession WRs and back on backs on backs. Brady hasn't had a deep threat since 09. Brees is not a good enough of a decision-maker to put up Brady's numbers with his weapons and in that offense. He would never have that 36 and 4 season. NEVER. Like Peyton said, "He throws some balls and I'm like...nah I wouldn't of thrown that one, but then gets away with it." Try getting away with it throwing to Deion Branch running a 7.9.
