MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - A woman is in jail, accused of running over her ex-boyfriend's pregnant girlfriend with her car.

According to police, a man and his girlfriend went to an address on Madewell Street near Frayser Boulevard to fight with his ex-girlfriend, 23-year-old Myra Seals.


Seals got into her car and as she was backing out of the driveway, the couple started beating on her car.

Seals then ran over the other woman. The victim had several broken bones and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. She was six months pregnant and the fetus died at the hospital.

Seals was arrested and charged with manslaughter and aggravated assault.

Should this woman be charged? They came for her and she tried to leave... To me it seems like she has a plausible defense

Hell yea I'm getting the fukk outta dodge. You never kno if someone is gonna try to take your life.

Hopefully she gets a good lawyer. You can tell she was hit in the face more than once. She was just running for her life

That's why I hope she doesn't get stuck with some young overworked public defender. Either way even if found guilty I doubt she would so any time unless she has a bunch of priors

It tends to happen like this a lot, someone gets arrested, cops investigate and realize the ones who should be in custody ain't and they release the innocent one.
