So DR one of , if not the biggest carribean countries with a thriving GDP has no fit within China plan of expanding its influence. That is very naive .

To Europe/Asia have a fondness for carribean islands. They def see the value in investing into the island. A country like DR who has a high consumption rate can benfit greatly from a manufacturing powerhouse like China. US aint manufacturing shyt and sending it to the islands..so why wouldnt China invest in infrastructure and increase trade . i say this from a international trade/economic point of view.
