I know this is a joke thread, but buying up Detroit is an excellent idea. Property is super cheap there. It could become the blueprint for another great black American city.
Would take a massive effort and a collaboration of a group to turn Detroit around.People and businesses abandoned that place for a reason.
People are already buying up property there in droves. In 10-20 years Detroit will probably be majority white.

no its not. property is super cheap cause detroit is fukkin garbage. it would take a miracle for that city to get back to where it was at its peak in the 1950s-1970s

Goodness, you people have NO vision. A bunch of lazy whiners. Then you have the nerve to complain about white supremacy. Too many of you are content with picking up the scraps that whites leave for you, and won't build your own.
- Get a group together to push out much of the local government.
- Form a militia to ward the city of its criminal element.
- Buy up property, and offer it on the cheap to people who can fix it up.
- Start farming local areas as a way to start production in the area.
- Tons of other things too.

a business resurgence. Big business. The old economy, one of skilled trade and world-class tourism, is dead. Those were more conducive
to the black middle class. The money that place would need to turn into something would require black people with money to come
there...which means they have to leave somewhere else.
Think of Atlanta's success. While it is a model city, the time it took to become what is is, which pre-dates the current credit crunch and
economic turmoil, took a long time to come to fruition. Even if blacks bought heavily into Detroit, they would have had to see how the population
treats the city and realize they weren't going to make bread out there. Detroit is ripe for gentrification at best. There won't be a large-scale
urban renaissance. The economy dying there killed the cities spirit.
Very likely, as they have the money and the connections to turn Detroit into something livable. Blacks don't have the skilled trade and tourism
to attract investment dollars to that area anymore. The place is a money pit. As important as Detroit was to America at one point, it isn't the first
or last world-class city that died an ugly death due to globalization and automation.
It has nothing to do with white supremacy or laziness, brehette. Look at the wider economy. Just because we want things for ourselves
doesn't mean the wider economic structure doesn't have an effect on our endeavors. What built Detroit was easy jobs and affordable
housing in a post-war economy. Even if black people flocked toward Detroit, it wouldn't work with black dollars alone. It wouldn't have nearly the manpower
or investment to overhaul it, and it doesn't have living wages available to people who haven't pursued education.
What made Detroit work at one point would be radically different under today's system. This is basic economics, black unity won't
change that.
