In general, brehettes in the 17-35 age group are definitely more into hood and street dudes than clean cut Black dudes. The Pop the Balloon show is a good demonstration of this.
That's entertainment. I'm talking about what happens in real life.

In real life most women takes what comes their way.

I work in a building with 90% men. The men who are dusty, street, whatever, get women just fine but the clean cut men are the ones the women pursue.

There is one guy in particular who is pretty average imo and the girls go crazy over him. He turns down quite a few. When he turns them down they go play with the dusties.

lol don’t know what you talking about. Plenty of dudes from the hood that ain’t criminals. A street guys is a criminal. Hence the term in the streets.

A good example of a hood dude is Lamar Jackson. He is a hood guy no doubt but he ain’t a crook and never was.

You just have a weird hating bias. Maybe the hood brehs got the girls u always wanted?
a lot of people aren't actually from the hood that be on this site. They see the hood on tv or a computer screen. So all they know it internet propaganda. What you're saying in 100% accurate.

I'm also a hood dude, with a degree. Never did drugs, never owned a gun. Never ran with a gang. Too many people think the hood is 100% street dudes. It's largely working class normal people.

I think the class distinction is partly what people are missing. A lot of people look down on working class people.

Exactly. Most Black people are working class. Women outnumber men in college. Black people are disproportionately represented in poverty. And blue collar or white collar men making high salaries aren’t necessarily looking to date or marry women of the same income status. One minute they complain about Black women looking down on bus drivers and their standards being too high. The next minute all high achieving Black women have baby daddies who are criminals. Which is funny because every blue collar Black man I know has a woman, and many have several women/baby mamas. So they seem to be doing ok on all fronts.

A lot of these brehs are mad they couldn’t get the woman they wanted and they’re truly the most dangerous type of all. Sometimes it’s as simple as looking in the mirror.

Good example: Bron was a hood dude. From the hood, has experienced struggle, etc. He was NOT a street nikka. Women largely can't tell the difference between the two because the prototype in their mind is a guy in a nice fit who talks a certain way and fits the "noble savage" aesthetic. Speaking of which, the only thing I disagree with in the vid is the idea that only (or mainly) black women fall for this. The noble savage or bad boy thing has been around forever across American culture. It's featured in most mafia movies, cowboy movies, biker movies, etc.
When a woman says she want a hood dude, I don't think they're talking about a Bill Cosby or a Will Smith (who both grew up in the slums of Philly). They want a dude with a hood mentality that's in the streets. We've all heard Destiny Child's "Soldier" & Gorilla Zoe's "Hood Nıgga" & it's quite known that a hood dude & a street dude pretty much mirror each other.

I'm from the hood but you'd never know because of the way I carry myself. So with that being said, a woman is either gonna like me or she won't because of that. Me telling her I'm from the hood won't change a thing. It's not about being from there, a lot of them are turned on by men being a product of it.

Its ok to have a preference and it's ok to have a "fetish". You nikkas act like women trying to use words and shaming tactics to control grown ass people. as long as you ain't doing nothing morally wrong or illegal so what?
A relationship is with a person not a demographic. If you let your Significant Other know I like you mainly because your Black, Chinese, have a huge ass, big t*ts, etc. it's kinda marginalizing and treating someone like an object not a person.

I’m talking IRL too. Brehettes 17-35 gravitate more towards brehs who are like Future than brehs who are like Grant Hill as far as personality and how they carry themselves.

Certain words can be used interchangeably

They should know exactly what she means within the context she is speaking but we got some real weirdos on here.

where i'm from, we have a word for the type of dudes she's describing in the OP.

gamey.

think about wild animals vs. farm raised or domesticated. wild animals have a gamey taste to them where as the farm raised doesn't. venison or goat compared to beef and chicken.

applies to men and women as well. hood nikkas whether male or female are gamey. their speech, mannerisms, presentation, vibes etc are unrestrained, unpolished, lewd, and essentially "wild" because of the lax social environment of the streets compared to those who come from more regulated environments, whose speech and behavior tend to be more modified, polished, refined, or calculated.

a taste for game is an acquired taste. usually people who grew up on gamey food prefer it. think of africans/caribbeans and their love for goat meat. hood nikkas tend to prefer hood nikkas.

but as others have mentioned, the black community is largely working class/blue collar, and many middle class blacks tend to still have working class family and ties to the hood, even if they live in the burbs. so it's not a shock that many of them still have a taste for game.

for men and women who come from historic black middle class families, gaminess is an absolute non-starter.

There isn’t any truth in what the Brehette said in the video? Nobody ever said hood Black dudes are the only brehs who can get women. And you’re really saying that brehs who can’t get the women they want are more dangerous than street dudes?
