Tbh, this is exactly what many do with crab/lobster.

Just last year, a client at my job brought the whole office a bunch of live lobsters.

If I had time I'd freeze em n then boil em up, but same day drop same day dinner.

So I threw him in the pot with a bit of water n ole boy was knocking from the inside trying to get out...for like three minutes.

12 minutes later, I was cracking him open n sucking out the meat n juices.
