I part in the direction I want my twistout to lay...with each section I put water on it to set them then do flat twist...depending on when u plan to twist out u don't want them too wet cuz they should be completely dry to minimize frizz...leave in over night, tie with silk scarf...put oil on ur hands and untwist them
