I saw both of them and they are cool imo. Saw the 2nd one earlier today and I think it's just as dope as the first.

They are decent. Better than the Saws, Conjuring, etc. Basically all of the more recent returns to scary movies. Good if you watch with a good crowd type of movies and a chick. Don't go in expecting Oscar worthy writing or acting.

the insidious moves are dope...some of the best finishing moves i've ever seen...

the Insidious MOVIES on the other hand are terrible and not scary at all....

They're good not great. First one had a dope concept but the second half lost the suspense building that made it's first half so successful. The second one is a direct sequel that finishes up the story and is really cleverly put together but it resorts mostly on jump scares. The second one is definitely made to be watched in a crowded theater (like the paranormal activity flicks...they suck to watch dolo bc they aren't really scary but the jumps are cool to watch in a crowd). Don't expect a classic and go in to have fun with it and you'll be happy.
