If you're equally proficient in multiple languages, which one do you think in?

breh, this was my problem with learning french
i just could not think in that language.
german, no problem
english,no problem
afrikaans,no problem,
but with french, i would/still do think in english or german,then translate what i was thinking in my head into french and only then speak it.
never been as proficient in it as i am in english or german.i haven't spoken french in close to 8 years though!!
