Right... because I have one friend I talk to probably once every 2 months or so... usually small talk to, and my chick is insecure af about it.

And it boiled over yesterday because my homegirl is cool af and tries to be nice and shyt but yesterday the claws were out.

In the end it was my girl that looked insecure, messy, classless, and childish. So now I’m trying to figure out how I should be reacting...

I’m disappointed but should she be bushed by this?

If she honestly can't handle you being cool with someone on a surface level like that, she's going to get extremely petty and it sounds like she's immature
Might even pull the "well I'll talk to my guy friends" card then have like 8 nikkas hitting her up trying to make you jealous
