tbh, you get over it fairly quickly. As the show is good. There isn't a ton of it, but its a part of life in there.
Your mileage may vary, though

Deadwood was criminally underrated and doesn't get near the respect of the Wire and Sopranos. But it's right up there with em in my opinion.
