Because there weren't a handful of 2 Chainz stans telling us how big the album was gonna be when all evidence suggested otherwise. I think everyone knew that it wouldn't sell well based on the singles, promo, and overall hype.
Cuz 2chainz album actually had some really good songs and production for someone like him.
And Big Sean & 2chainz DO NOT occupy the same lane contrary to how nikkas on here really try to push them into. Yeah they punch line rappers but 2chainz is a trap artist and Sean tryna to come off as lyrical.

I hear you but 2 Chainz's flop was crazy. He did almost 300 first week just a year ago.

Nobody really everybody expected that 2 Chainz would sell all that great. It's a few delusional people who actually think Big Sean is an album selling artist when all he sells is singles. it's a bad thing when your 2nd album sells less than your debut.

Nah, he actually only sold 147k 1st week with his debut. He did eventually go gold and right now it's at 623k but that was because of the massive hype he had at the time.

He, like Juicy J, actually sold even less than Big Sean did their first week...but both have already overcome him, have sold more total and add to the distance every week

This is why I say the stanning can be counter productive around here.
I think collectively everyone was tired of the Big Sean stanning so when it went south people piled on. No one stans 2 Chainz so no one wants to make jokes.
